Phoenix is a solidly built palomino stallion with exceptional movement, extension and a great amount of athletic ability. He is a product of strong western heritage and was bred to continue his solid foundation lineage. His quiet, personable disposition and his eager, willing, trainable temperment are not only attributes to our great horse/human partnership, but he passes on all to his offspring. His heritage has proven the motto "legs like cedar posts" and Phoenix is no exception; standing straight and true on legs with dense bone and excellent Morgan feet. Phoenix has a laid back personality with a relaxed, forward moving stride that takes you places without even realizing that he is moving out. He has been ridden as a trail mount, has dressage fundamentals, has been schooled to jump 2' and has been driven in harness with a small cart. He currently is learning the value of the hackamore and will continue in the school of the bridle horse as he matures. He is light, responsive and a very willing saddle mount. His smooth, fluid movement and laidback approach to life make him a pleasure to both ride & drive. As a sire he stamps his foals with his compact, solid build, straight legs with excellent bone, fluid, easy movement and most importantly of all, with his laid back and trainable temperament.
